Camping Program

At Weeden Heights Primary School the camping program aims to provide each child with the opportunity to gain knowledge, experience and a sense of achievement through a variety of challenging situations within different environments. This program promotes the students’ independence and builds positive teacher-child and peer group relationships.

The primary focus of the camping program at Weeden Heights Primary School is an engaging and activity based camp experience bi-annually in grades 3 and 4 and yearly in grade 5 and 6.

Children are prepared for these camps by having the opportunity to attend a school breakfast in Prep, an extended day excursion in grade 1 and a school sleep over in grade 2.
